IMO has been active in the field of organic certification for more than 20 years. The IMO Group is an international network of companies and representatives with 300 staff members active in 90 countries worldwide.

The National Organic Program (NOP) develops, implements, and administers national production, handling, and labeling standards for organic agricultural products. The NOP also accredits the certifying agents (both within and outside the USA) who inspect organic production and handling operations to certify that they meet USDA standards (Exactly the case with MHS in Canada). Health Check is a not-for-profit program open to all food companies, grocery retailers, food marketing associations and restaurant chains.Food companies and restaurants voluntarily submit products or menu items for evaluation by our registered dietitians.
Companies and restaurants must earn the right to display the Health Check logo by meeting the program’s nutrient criteria. Upon qualifying for the program, participants pay a modest annual fee to cover program costs and to develop tools around healthy eating. Health Check is not a fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
